The Issues

Here at Webeurope we are not only passionate about website design, we also have a healthy appetite for current affairs. We do not believe businesses should pretend to be neutral on any important issue. Whether it be about the devastating effects of globalisation from corporate giants, or the threat to personal liberty and human rights by politicians and the media who's real agenda is to protect the interests of their financial masters.

British Shoot-to-Kill Policy

On Friday 22nd July 2005 members of the London Metropolitan police shot dead Jean Charles de Menezes in a shoot-to-kill operation.

For the past 30 years the British government has operated a shoot-to-kill policy in Ireland which claimed hundreds of lives. Despite European Court, and UN rulings the British Government has not been held accountable for any of these killings.

At this dangerous time for human rights and civil liberties we offer our condolences and support to the family of Jean Charles de Menezes in the hope that justice is delivered and other such atrocities are avoided, and remember the families of the victims of the British shoot-to-kill policy in Ireland.

More info on the victims of British Government's shoot-to-kill policy in Ireland, and the Britsh Government's collusion in murder can be found at :-
